CoCo Tea Conquers Cebu City

Look who’s growing and staying in Cebu?

It’s CoCo!

In a matter of six months, CoCo Fresh Tea and Juice has launched two branches in Cebu City and soon they’ll be opening their third branch by the second quarter of next year.

“We are overwhelmed with the response of Cebuanos for CoCo. In fact, Cebu City was one of the most requested area the we have received for CoCo to be present in, and when SM Seaside opened in Cebu, we knew that this is the perfect location to build our flagship store in Cebu,” Larry Evans Tan, General Manager of CoCo, shared in a huddle with Cebu media at the CoCo SM Seaside branch.

Since CoCo Tea opened its flagship store in SM Seaside last March, it has since become a favorite hangout place of many Cebuanos, old and young alike. They opened a second branch in Ayala Center Cebu only last month just to keep up with the demand for CoCo blends from the Cebu market.

“We felt that the CoCo brand and the Cebuano lifestyle are a perfect match. Cebuanos are known for their love for good food and having a fun, relaxed vibe. They also love to hang out with their friends and families and these are exactly what CoCo stands for,” Tan shared.

Just recently, CoCo was awarded the Favorite Milk Tea brand in the Philippines, truly a testament of its leadership in the milk tea market segment.

CoCo BEST SELLERS

The CoCo bestsellers which have now become favorites of the Cebuano customers are the Panda Milk Tea, 3 Buddies, White Pearl Milk Tea and Passion Fruit Tea Burst.

LATEST ADDITION TO COCO BLENDS

The Chocolate Caramel Cream Slush which Tan described as “Waves of caramel blended with chocolate slush over velvety salty cream making it a drink that is decadent for the local palate.”

Chocolate Caramel Cream Slush is a blend that’s exclusive and created for the Philippines.

Tan is very optimistic with the future of CoCo among Filipino milk tea lovers and continues to respond to clamor for more branches nationwide.

“We continue to explore expansion to other areas and bring CoCo closer to our customers. At the same time, we also try to come up with new flavors that we know our customers would love,” Tan said.

What’s also awesome about CoCo, they have partnered with Grab Food delivery in Cebu so for those who have cravings for some CoCo blends, they can just order via the app in a snap!

Hi Good Day! I want to share my worst customer service experience I had with one of your branches here in Coco Tea SM Southmall branch. Last Saturday, June 5, 2021 my pregnant friend was craving for her favorite milktea so she asked me to accompany her to buy. We fell in line and waited. I was the one who ordered our milktea which specifically Salty Cream Milk Tea with PUDDING. We are a regular customer of Coco Tea since the day it was launched here in Southmall. The moment you added Salty Cream Milktea in your menu, it became our favorite not just me but my colleagues as well. So we ALWAYS order the said flavor. So when it was my turn in the line, I ordered our favorite Salty Cream Milktea with PUDDING toppings. I noticed that the cashier was punching a different toppings which was pearl, I repeat my order to make myself clear so I assumed that she undestood. When it was my turn to claim our order, they gave me a different variation from what I ordered. They gave me Salty Cream Milktea with pearl toppings but we ordered PUDDING. So I concerned it to the cashier that they made a mistake. The name of the cashier was Iris Christine Meneses. Then there’s guy who’s name is Reynante Zafra who’s claiming that he is the OIC answered me and said that it was me who made the mistake. The cashier remain silent because she knew that it was her fault because I mentioned it twice what I want to made it clear. Instead of being polite as they were the one who made the mistake, the named Reynante Zafra made a fuss and argued with me. I, together with pregnant friend were so humiliated around the other customer who was seeing it. They insisted that we’re wrong and they were right. I requested them to change my order but they refused and refunded my money. I thought we could buy or order again so we tried but the Reynante guy refrain us to order again. This was the worst customer service that I have experienced. I tried to ask for their names because I want to concern it but they refused. The reason why Im writing these letter is because I want your company to take actions about what happened to me and my pregnant friend. My friend was just craving for her favorite milktea but they were so rude. We were very disappointed. We dont deserved that kind of treatment because I, myself is also working as customer service rep and I never do that to my client. I always try to be calm and respectful no matter what. Your branch has poor customer service. I hope that you can do something about it. I am looking forward to hearing back from the respected authorities as soon as possible. Thank You and Godbless.
