The Pepsi Taste Challenge invades Cebu featuring Cebuano local artists

Pepsi Philippines’ #SundinAngPuso campaign has arrived in Cebu with a goal to empower today’s Filipino youth to be unafraid to follow their heart in doing the things they love. What better way to formally launch the campaign than staging the Pepsi Taste Challenge, one of its most popular global campaigns previously held in different countries around the world.

The Pepsi Taste Challenge celebrates Filipinos’ love for cola and dares them to challenge their preconceptions through a taste test in different cities around the country to find out whether people prefer the refreshing bold taste of Pepsi vs another cola brand.

“Filipinos have enjoyed Pepsi cola for years now, and the global success that we’ve had in various countries, as well as the overwhelming success we’ve had in Manila, makes us confident that Pepsi will be the choice of majority of the participants of the Pepsi Taste Challenge,” said Gutzee Segura, Marketing Manager of Pepsi Philippines.

THE PEPSI TASTE CHALLENGE IN CEBU

Last February 22, 2020, everyone who took part in the challenge was in high spirits as they actively participated in all the activity booths set up by the Pepsi Team at SM Seaside City Cebu.

Joining the fun were Pepsi ambassadors and celebrity influencers: Ricci Rivero and Pamela Swing. They both played some games with their fans like Name that Song, Pass It On, Pepsi-Oke Challenge, and Drop the Beat.

The celebration wouldn’t be complete without some musical treat featuring local artists: Mandaue Nights, Karencitta, and the upcoming local KPOP sensation, SB19 which totally made everyone in the Mountain Wing go crazy over their breathtaking performances. 

 

PEPSI TASTE CHALLENGE CEBU RESULTS

Cebu has spoken! At the end of a fun and enjoyable challenge, results showed that 78% of those who took the Taste Challenge prefer the refreshing bold taste of Pepsi over the other brand! 

So where to next? The Pepsi Team will be staging another taste test challenge in SM Lanang Premiere Davao on March 7, 2020.
