Run For Others: The 9th St. Ignatius Run

Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu is run by the Philippine Province of the Society of Jesus which was founded by St. Ignatius de Loyola. In line with the celebration of the Feast of St. Ignatius, Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu’s Alumni Association is having its annual family fun run spearheaded by the current year’s silver jubilee batch.

Now on its 9th year, Batch ’94 is hosting the St. Ignatius Fun Run which will be on July 21, Sunday at the SM City Cebu, North Reclamation Area with five race categories:  21KM, 12KM, 6KM, 3KM, and 1KM (Cosplay).

Anjo World tickets will be raffled off after the event and 12KM and 21KM runners qualify for the Garmin Raffle Draw



Aside from its aim of promoting health and wellness and encourage camaraderie among the participants, this event also aims to raise funds for the various projects of the  Batch ’94 and the SHS-AdC Alumni association’s charitable projects which include the Blue Plate Program, medical missions, a book drive, and donations to foundations such as ERUF and Dilaab Foundation.

For the remainder of the year, the alumni association through the leadership of Batch ’94 will also host the Eagles Gold Tournament, medical outreach, and a book campaign.
