Binibining Mabolo 2018 Candidates Plant Trees in Mabolo Elementary School

Trees are vital. They give life as they produce the air we breathe; they provide food and other resources for us to survive. The world will be more beautiful if we plant more trees.

To express their appreciation for trees, thirteen Binibining Mabolo 2018 candidates, Pat Abejuela of TMT Concepts (Event Head), Michael Racaza (Binibining Mabolo project proponent), and Engr. Jhun Cresley Marikit (Event Working Committee)  had a tree planting activity last May 5, 2018 in Mabolo Elementary School as they strengthen their pageant advocacy on Environmental Protection.

Planting 13 Mabolo trees at the school’s backyard is one way of building teamwork and good rapport among the candidates and fostering environmental stewardship to the community, as well. The candidates ended the tree planting with hopes that more people will chime in and do their part as well in making our world a better place to live in.

Now that’s a pageant with a heart 🙂

The First Binibining Mabolo pageant night will be held at Mabolo Elementary School Cultural Center (across St. Joseph Church, Brgy. Mabolo) on May 11, 2018. Show starts at 8PM with tickets sold for only Php100. The pageant is for the benefit of the scholars of Mabolo Elementary School.
