Digital coffee brand launches in the Philippines—delivering coffee on-demand in the new normal

With the shift to remote work and instant commerce brought by the pandemic, Bo’s Coffee launched an exclusively digital coffee brand—Bo’s Coffee Daily to help customers access quality coffee on-demand.

The Philippines’ biggest homegrown coffee chain, Bo’s Coffee, recently launched its digital coffee company “Bo’s Coffee Daily”  which aims to help urban dwellers adapt to the new normal. The brand marries the quality homegrown coffee beans and decades of Bo’s Coffee craftsmanship with the convenience of today’s technology. 

“With Bo’s Coffee Daily, people living in select urban areas of the Philippines will now be able to get the coffee they crave in just a few clicks,” said Steve Benitez, founder of Bo’s Coffee Daily. “When the quarantine restrictions took hold, we realized that coffee was such a customary part of consumers’ lives–whether it meant catching up with good friends or getting some work done. People really missed the cafe. Of course, we couldn’t deliver those exact same experiences, but we could still get them professionally-brewed coffee right when they needed it while making the ordering experience as delightful as possible.”

Through a friendly Facebook Messenger chatbot accessible from a phone, customers can order safely from home, beat the traffic, and skip the lines. The chatbot isn’t only extremely simple to use—it’s actually really fun too. Fashioned to recreate the cafe experience, the chatbot makes customers feel at home—as if they were actually talking with their neighborhood barista. “In today’s world, customers already expect convenience, but what we’ve tried to do is go a step further and make the experience more personalized and human,” said Steve.
