Cebu Marathon 2020 is going to be bigger as promised by the official event organizers, Cebu Executive Runners Club (CERC) in the recent media huddle yesterday. The highlight of the presscon was their announcement that they are once again forging another partnership with the New Balance as their official performance footwear for CCM 2020.
Cebu Marathon 2020’s event organizers represented by John Pages, Meyrick Jacalan, and Jesse Taborada, its agency partner, ASAP Advertising and Events represented by Perl Jacalan, together with Agnes Puno of New Balance share the 12 exciting “happy-nings” activities and events that are in store for the CCM 2020 participants.
Couch to Cebu Marathon 2020
All CCM 2020 participants get the chance to train for free with three NB pacers with different time targets (6, 6.30 and 7 min/km pace). NB Ambassador, Rovilson Fernandez will pace on the race day, January 12, 2019.
The Six-Sunday long run training will kick off on November 24. Participants will receive a Couch to Cebu Marathon 2020 stamp card upon signing up. This card will be stamped on and validated after every Sunday run they participate in. After four validated stamps, the participant gets an exciting freebie exclusively from New Balance, while those complete all six Sundays get a New Balance shirt.
Couch to Cebu Marathon 2020 sign up starts on November 18 at the New Balance Concept Store at Level 2, Ayala Center Cebu’s New Wing. No registration fees needed.

CEBU MARATHON 2020
In its 12th year, the Cebu Marathon promises to be one of the most festive road-running races in the Philippines. Filled with the Sinulog celebration spirit, the routes are littered with hydration stations where runners are greeted with drum beaters and dancers with an invigorating and festive vibe.
Cebu Marathon 2020 is expecting thousands of runners joining the 42k, 21k, and 5k distances. The race starts and ends at Cebu Business Park and passes through several of the city’s iconic areas, including the Provincial Capitol Building, and Fuente Osmeña. Joel Juarez of the Coco Running is the race director.
