New Menu at Diamond Suites Cebu: Worthy of a “Foodventure”

The Grain Restaurant, an all-day dining restaurant of Diamond Suites Cebu recently launched their new menu which gives the guests whole new dining experience with a twist of mouth-watering Asian distinct flavors but still gives you something close to “home.”

The Diamond and Suites Residences General Manager Katherine S. Angala with the brilliant minds behind the new menu in Grain Restaurant: Jake I. Satina, Sous Chef Chef Wally Fetalvero, and Jopette S. Idio

Everything in the menu is worthy of a “foodventure” that you’ll truly enjoy and be wanting for more. Here are the scrumptious dishes that I got to try over lunch.

Deep-fried coated squid rings with aioli sauce (Php 350)

The Diamond’s take on this spicy noodle dish was awarded in the prestigious Cebu Goes Culinary 2018 (Php 260)

MAIN DISH

CRUSTED HERB PORK CHOPS WITH WALNUT PESTO SAUCE

Freshly cut pork chop, basil, thyme, parsley, and walnut (Php 420)

STUFFED SQUID WITH GROUND PORK FILLING AND CHIMICHURI SAUCE

Fresh squid and freshly ground pork in a combination with coriander and parsley (Php 400)

FILIPINO FRIED CHICKEN

ADOBO FRIED CHICKEN

Chicken marinated in adobo sauce and deep-fried (Php 340)

DESSERT

FRIED HALO2X WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM

Popular Filipino shaved ice delicacy filled with sweet ingredients but it’s prepared by deep frying it first before serving it. (Available soon)

LEMON MERINGUE TART

Lemon cream in a bed of freshly made sugar dough and topped with Swiss meringue (Php 200)

MANGO TART

Fresh mango in freshly made sugar dough and topped with mango vanilla cream (Php 200)

TIRAMISU

Cheesecake with homemade ladyfinger, cream cheese, rhum and a sprinkle of cocoa (Php 288)
