Rotary Club of Cebu returns on its third year the Citrineland Corporation Run for the Gift of Life on May 19, 2019, at Robinson’s Galleria Cebu. All proceeds from the fun run is for the benefit of the Gift of Life Program which gears towards the awareness of indigent children with a congenital heart defect (CHD).
LAST YEAR’S HEART WARRIORS
The result of last year’s run was phenomenal. It resulted in having ninety-seven (97) children, each having different cases of CHD receive heart surgeries and catheterization procedures last December 15, 2018.
A RUN TO INCREASE AWARENESS FOR THE GIFT OF LIFE
Now on its third year, Rotary Club of Cebu aims to raise funds to financially support their projects: The Gift of Life Program and Vocational Training Team. This covers the medical operations, equipment, and training of doctors geared towards the sole beneficiaries, the indigent children suffering from CHD.
The fun run is also a good avenue to encourage the community not only to help the indigent children with CHD but also be ambassadors to live a healthy lifestyle.
RACE CATEGORIES AND RATES
Grocery loot bags will be given at the finisher’s tent for the first 1,000 finishers.
The 1KM or the Family Category Run was added last year to allow the parents to bring their children with them to expose them of the purpose of the fun run and what congenital heart defect (CHD) is all about.

Assembly time is at 4:30 AM for the warm-up exercise and some briefing of the guidelines from the organizers and the starting line is at Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
Top 10 Male/Female Finishers for all categories will receive trophies.
