For years now, I’ve been collecting journals from a coffee shop that I always go to but sometimes when I ran out of time collecting stickers, I ended up buying from an online seller at a hefty price. It’s not the thought of joining the bandwagon of having the expensive journal but it’s more like not breaking my tradition, so it’s something personal.
I rarely use these journals for plotting schedules but I used them as my diary and memory keeper. It is where I place memorable photos of my loved ones, receipts/movie stubs from unforgettable dates and it is also where I write my thoughts/reflection for the day.
It’s only last month that I started going to The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf every week because I only discovered that they serve delicious coffee and cakes! And they have unlimited WiFi connection for the swirl card holders. Sounds like a good deal to me.
So lately, I’ve been working in the coffee shop for days now since the aroma of coffee and having my own “nook” with my thoughts make me work better than writing at home. Little did I know that in a span of ten days, I was able to collect twelve stickers that made me earn my first TCBTL 2018 Giving Journal.
I chose the blue journal since it’s my favorite color. When I opened it, I was surprised to see what’s inside.
What’s so special about this journal is that they make it YOUR OWN PERSONAL SPACE that lets you write your thoughts, monthly goals and realizations.
And there are sections that motivate you to do something positive with other people through their stories of how they started with their Giving Journal, of their foundations and tales of leaving a legacy. So the coffee shop is not merely a place to have a good coffee but it is also a brand of new hope for others, as well. And they even have this centerfold showing the GRATITUDE JAR which is a reminder for all of us to simply be grateful of what we have in life.
The giving journal comes with monthly coupons for one to enjoy and stickers to customize their entries to their journal.
As a whole, the journal reminded me of how I used to make my own scrapbook when I was younger and I couldn’t wait for the new year to begin! 🙂
So it’s not just your ordinary journal that lets you keep track of your schedules but this giving journal is something that you can call a record or even a memoir of YOUR OWN JOURNEY TO SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL IN 2018.
Isn’t that neat? So get one for yourself and be inspired to make a good change for the new year ahead of you 🙂
