#ThankfulTogether: a Filinvest Lifemalls Christmas celebration of Hope

It is embedded in the Filipino culture, Christmas is the most awaited time of the year. The family gatherings of the traditional Noche Buena feast, batch reunions, company parties, carolings, exchanging gifts, and everything else, would now be close to impossible – the way it used to be.

The coronavirus pandemic prompted us to celebrate differently. With technology, there are options to do virtual parties and gatherings but the warmth – the embrace, hugs, and kisses – are somewhat missing. With this new normal, times maybe different but it will never dump our spirits to create a new moment.

Filinvest Lifemalls brings the message of faith, hope, and love to its shoppers this Christmas as it becomes the venue for communities to come together this season by always keeping its malls safe and secure with the standard health and safety protocols to bring back consumer confidence.

IL Corso Filinvest Lifemalls’ 2nd Christmas Illumination is a celebration of hope to celebrate the simple joys, cherish the small victories, and count the everyday blessings. These last few months, we have seen faith in humanity restored — kindness in the face of suffering, courage amidst the crisis, solidarity above self. Today, we celebrate the triumph of hope in the most challenging of times. Today, we are #THANKFULTOGETHER.

Filinvest Lifemalls express their “heartfelt thanks” to everyone for helping them put the new normal in today’s mall experience – to the government officials and employees for their service and to the medical and industry frontliners, the backbone in these challenging moments.

The traditional Filipino inspired Christmas tree symbolizes going back to basics, embracing what is essential with love, care, and hope.

“As we illuminate the Christmas tree, may we truly appreciate the beacon of light as we look forward to A SEASON OF HOPE. Hope that is a powerful force in our lives that accentuates our courage to keep moving forward. Our time to reflect on the valuable opportunity and enjoy the gift of togetherness and realize how lucky are we to be surrounded by those who truly love and care for us,” said George Calles – OIC Deputy GM & Marketing Manager.

To ensure that #YouAreSafeAtILCorso, all invitees were required to strictly follow the health and safety protocols by wearing face masks with face shields and observe social distancing protocols as mandated by the IATF.

Mr. Teddy Sy of Dessert Factory and Atty. Rochelle Chan and Mr. Vince de Leon of Bubble Z prepared the heavy cocktails and drinks packed with care.

Guests were entertained with the finest Christmas melodies from Fifth Serenades and watched the performances of Dreamcatchers inspired by today’s call to kindness, empathy, and social consciousness, a timely reminder from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol and Anastacia.
