Pasundayag sa Cebu Sinulog 2020 Sto. Niño Exhibit at Golden Prince Hotel & Suites

Golden Prince Hotel & Suites officially launched the Sinulog festivities through an exhibit of 22 different images from 16 devotees which are on display at the hotel’s lobby. This is the second year in a row that the hotel conducted an exhibit to share, inspire and remind the people who visit Cebu for Sinulog that the cultural, religious and center of the festivity is our thanksgiving to Senyor Santo Niño.

The hotel held a holy mass officiated by Father Raffy De Gracia at the QCafe followed by a ceremonial procession, enthronement, and blessing of the Sto. Nino Exhibit dubbed as “Pasundayag sa Cebu Sinulog 2020”.  The event was well attended by the Que Family, hotel employees, devotees and invited guests.

Department of Tourism R7 Regional Director Shalimar Tamano, Philippine Information Agency Director Fayette Rinen, Cebu City Tourism Officer Joy Avila, Cebu Provincial Tourism Officer Marti Ybanez, Cebu Province Chief of Staff Atty. Frank Dinsay, and Ms. Amor Sarmiento from the Office of the Governor of Cebu Province graced the festive occasion where a Sinulog dance performance was showcased by the 10G Troupers.

FNB kitchen led by manager Ching Dayunot with Chef Cindy Orquilla and Chef Tony Topia indulged the guests with a truly Cebuano menú to fine dining at Kabilin Heritage Lounge. Appetizers included: Fried Lumpia Sisig, Shrimp and Fish Crostini Ceviche and Salmon Shots. Soup served was Native Chicken Tinola and Pochero. For the salad was Roasted Chicken and Mango salad. Followed by the Entree Pescador, Humba  Cebuano, Beef Steak de Kabilin with Golden Prince Pinakbet for vegetables. The dinner was capped with Creme Brulee and Mango Pandan for dessert.

Drinks from the bar were also abundant as the guests were served, Gin Pom, gin infused with pomelo and Rose syrup, Paki Rum Dum, rum with Italian bitters and Tamango, vodka infused with Tamarind Candy and fresh mango juice. Wines were also overflowing that night included are wines of South Africa, Sediba, Chenin Blanc and Obikwa, Merlot.

It was truly a merry celebration of religious thanksgiving celebrated with good food and even better company. The exhibit is free and will run from January 10-19, 2020.

On January 17 to 19, Golden Prince Hotel will showcase the different products and delicacies from the towns of Argao, Ginatilan, and Alegria.
