PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas – the leading industry event in the region – opens with an impressive showcase of more than 300 brands for its 9th year. The event is open from June 7 to June 9 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino in Lahug from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm (except on the last day where it will close at 5:00 pm). Admission is free.
For the past decade, the event has been an effective platform in connecting industry professionals, business owners and consumers which makes it the no. 1 industry showcase in the region. “This event is strong evidence that through the efforts of both local and international contractors, engineers, suppliers, builders, and designers we can have an effective platform where the demands of the industry are met,” says Engr. Morris Agoncillo, President of PCA. Presenting the best the best line-up of brands, visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the latest offerings and innovations that are offered with discounts and surprises exclusively within the exhibition dates.
The show opened with one of the newest ambassadors of the industry as guest speaker – Bb. Pilipinas 2018 Finalist Sandra Raymundo Lemonon who came to the spotlight after her candidly clueless but honest response when asked about the government’s Build, Build, Build Program during the pageant’s Q&A round. Sandra has since then met with the Department of Transportation Secretary Art Tugade and named DOTr Senior Communications Campaign and Media Affairs Specialist for the Build, Build, Build Program.
Sandra was joined by some of the biggest names in the industry including the President of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. Consul Antonio N. Chiu; owners of the biggest brands in construction; board of directors of the Philippine Constructors Association, Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors, Philippine Society of Ventilating, Air-Conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers, Cebu Contractors Association, Davao Constructors Association Center, among others.
“We at CCA take pride in being part of this endeavour that has not only helped the PHILCONSTRUCT brand widen its reach into the Visayas but has also contributed in its own way to the remarkable achievements of the industry over the last decade, making possible business deals and partnerships that continue to shape various construction developments in this region,” shared Bernard Vonn Sia, event chairman for PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas 2018.
More than 10,000 industry professionals are expected to visit this 3-day sold-out exhibition. Visitors can look forward to new products and services showcased by the event’s co-presenter, Pacific Paint (Boysen) Philippines as well as from its major sponsors including Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc., Mitsubishi Electric, O’highland Machinery and Equipment, Inc., and Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines, Corp.
