The Dolores Aboitiz Children’s Fund of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI-DACF), in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Argao, turns over a Child Development Center (previously Day Care Center) in Barangay Gutlang in the Municipality of Argao.
The Child Development Center project was initiated after a study conducted by the RAFI-DACF Team last 2010 in the Province of Cebu and saw a need to construct a child-friendly environment since most of the Child Development Centers in Cebu are either dilapidated or need repair.

The Bato Lata/Tumba Lata, a famous game played by most Filipino children, is in lieu of the formal ribbon cutting to formally open this day care center. This is to adapt to the ways of the child.

Last 2017, RAFI-DACF turned over seven Child Development Centers in the Municipality of Argao. With the new additional center and two more in Barangay Gutlang and Casay, RAFI-DACF, with the Local Government Unit of Argao, has built a total of ten Child Development Centers with playgrounds.
