“Our event’s theme is Into the Future. You can expect topics that promote technology sustainability. We will be flying speakers from different countries like Cambodia, Israel, and Singapore to name a few. Aside from our international speakers, we also have cream of the crop local speakers in the country,” said Communications Manager, Frances Marie Teves.
Main topics for DevFest x BizFest Cebu 2018 will focus on Actions in Google, Android, Cloud, Web Design and Development, with workshops in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, panel discussions about the latest in Software Development, Business Development, Marketing, Block chain, and other Google technologies.
Developers will be given a chance to showcase their projects for free. Teams of 3-5 are automatically given a free pass. “We want to support our local community of developers as much as possible, so for the first time ever, developers will be given a platform to present their projects,” said GDG Cebu Community Manager Shad Roi De La Cruz.
